The Role The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google, ensuring all activity is aligned with brand standards and performance objectives. This role is centred on precise in-platform execution, performance monitoring, and continuous testing to support ongoing growth.
Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, the Paid Media Specialist will play a key role in bringing campaigns to life, maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and consistency across all paid channels. In addition to paid media, this role will support email marketing and e-commerce initiatives to ensure a seamless and cohesive customer journey across all touch points.
This is a new role within the organization.
Paid Media Execution & Optimization (Primary Focus) – 85%
- Support the day-to-day execution of campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads
- Build and launch campaigns following established strategy and structure
- Assist in setting up ad sets, audiences, budgets, and tracking
- Monitor daily and weekly performance and flag any issues or notable changes
- Track key metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CVR, and AOV
- Support ongoing testing across:
- Ad creative (images, video, messaging)
- Audiences
- Campaign structure and setup
- Implement A/B tests and document results and learnings
- Maintain organized and consistent campaign structures across prospecting, retargeting, and retention
- Assist in building regular performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Highlight trends and provide observations to support optimization decisions
- Support landing page testing initiatives in collaboration with the ecommerce team
- Ensure campaigns are set up accurately and running efficiently
Email Marketing (Support Role) – 10%
- Assist with building and scheduling campaigns in Klaviyo
- Support maintenance of core flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase)
- Help execute email acquisition initiatives (lead forms, popups, landing pages)
- Support alignment between paid media and email campaigns
E-Commerce (Support Role) – 5%
- Assist with on-site merchandising and promotional updates
- Help ensure landing pages align with active campaigns
- Share observations from paid traffic behavior to support CRO improvements
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in paid media (e-commerce preferred)
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager
- Exposure to Google Ads and/or TikTok Ads
- Basic understanding of A/B testing and campaign optimization
- Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar email platforms is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and execution skills
- Comfortable working with data in Excel or Google Sheets
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a performance marketing role
