About the Role

Hamari Asha Foundation is looking for a creative and socially driven Product Designer for the Home decor & Lifestyle category. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the social sector and interested in designing products while working closely with women artisans and craft-based production processes .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products in the home décor and lifestyle category, including prototypes and samples.
• Explore and source suitable materials for product development and production.
• Plan product collections based on seasonal trends and market demand.
• Manage production planning, order execution, and quality control.
• Streamline backend processes and inventory management.
• Train and coordinate with the Hamari Asha team and women artisans for product production.
• Identify opportunities for new product development and design innovation while supporting artisan livelihoods.

Qualification:

• Strong creative thinking, design skills, and communication abilities .
• Ability to work closely with artisan communities and production teams.
• Experience working with crafts, textiles, or artisan-based products is preferred.
• Proficiency in digital tools (design software, presentation tools, etc.).
• Work portfolio is mandatory.
