Job Description

Role Purpose To independently establish and manage the Human Resources function, with a primary focus on statutory compliance, policy implementation, and performance management systems, while supporting the organization’s growth and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities 1. HR Setup & Ownership

Take end-to-end ownership of the HR function as an individual contributor

Establish foundational HR processes, policies, and documentation

Act as the single point of contact for all HR-related matters

2. Statutory Compliance & Governance

Manage ESI, PF registrations, filings, and compliance through respective portals

Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws and support implementation of the New Labour Codes

Maintain statutory records and ensure audit readiness at all times

3. POSH Compliance & Workplace Policies

Ensure compliance with the POSH Act and support Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) processes

Develop and enforce workplace policies including:

Social Media Guidelines

Information Security & Data Protection Policies

4. Performance Management

Define and implement KRA and KPI frameworks across roles

Support and drive performance review cycles

Track and evaluate employee performance and provide structured insights to management

5. HR Operations

Manage onboarding, employee lifecycle, and documentation

Support employee engagement and retention initiatives

Coordinate with management on workforce planning and HR requirements

Candidate Profile Qualifications & Experience

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR operations and compliance

Prior hands-on experience with statutory compliance (ESI, PF) is essential

Functional Competencies

Strong working knowledge of:

ESI & PF portals and compliance processes

POSH regulations

Labour laws and emerging compliance frameworks

Understanding of KRA/KPI setting and performance tracking

Ability to draft and implement HR policies

Behavioral Competencies

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

High ownership and accountability

Strong attention to detail and process orientation

Effective communication and coordination skills

Compensation

~ Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

~ This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited for candidates who are keen to take ownership and build the HR function from the ground up in a growing organisation.
