Job Title - Application Security Analyst

Location - Remote in India

Role Type - Contract (6-month contract with potential extension)

Must Have Skills:

• Application security and web application testing expertise
• Penetration testing experience
• Static code analysis experience
• Dynamic application security assessment (DAST) experience
• Strong written communication skills (email proficiency)

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across web applications, APIs, databases, mobile, and cloud environments
• Conduct secure code reviews to identify critical security flaws
• Utilize tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Checkmarx, Fortify, and similar platforms
• Execute and manage SAST and DAST assessments, including scheduling and prioritization
• Analyze scan results and recommend remediation and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to communicate vulnerabilities and provide actionable feedback
• Support CI/CD pipeline integration with security tools and configurations
• Ensure adherence to secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Work with governance teams to align security tools and processes with organizational policies
• Reproduce, validate, and retest identified vulnerabilities
• Review audit findings and provide reporting to stakeholders and management
• Continuously improve application security processes and testing methodologies
