Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail focused Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role involves delivering high quality bookkeeping services to a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations while contributing to overall team and business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping records for multiple clients
Build and sustain strong client relationships as a trusted point of contact
Implement, maintain, and support accounting software solutions, including Xero
Prepare accurate financial records, including income and expenditure statements
Reconcile balance sheets and profit & loss accounts
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and income with high accuracy
Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with relevant regulations
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control activities
Provide support for ad hoc financial and administrative tasks
Requirements
- CA Inter / BCom qualification
- 2+ years of UK/Irish bookkeeping experience (preferably in an accountancy practice)
- Proficiency in Xero and other accounting software/tools
