Licensed Acupuncturist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluation of medical history to determine suitability for acupuncture therapy
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting conditions such as acute pain, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal issues
• Administer acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques and precise needle placement to ensure safety and efficacy
• Perform TCM and other adjunctive techniques to enhance pain management outcomes
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and the benefits of acupuncture for long-term health
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments provided, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Valid license as a Certified Licensed Acupuncturist with appropriate state or national licensing boards
• CPR Certification and BLS Certification to ensure preparedness for emergency situations
• Demonstrated experience in acute pain management and TCM
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice
• Proficiency in patient assessment skills, including physical examinations and understanding of pain management strategies
• Commitment to patient service and compassionate care that prioritizes safety and comfort
• Knowledge of aseptic technique to prevent infections during procedures
