Role Overview

The Principal is the academic and administrative head of the school responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and managing the overall functioning of the institution in accordance with CBSE guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership

• Lead the implementation of the CBSE curriculum and academic policies.
• Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Promote innovative teaching methodologies and integration of technology.
• Monitor academic performance and implement improvement strategies.

2. School Administration

• Oversee the overall functioning of the school including timetable, examinations, admissions, and discipline.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation norms, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage school infrastructure, resources, and administrative processes.

3. Staff Leadership & Development

• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Conduct professional development programs and performance appraisals.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work culture among staff.

4. Student Development

• Promote holistic development through co-curricular and life skills programs.
• Maintain discipline and ensure student safety and wellbeing.
• Encourage values-based education and leadership among students.

5. Parent & Community Engagement

• Maintain solid communication with parents and the school management.
• Organize parent-teacher meetings and community outreach initiatives.
• Promote the school’s vision and reputation in the community.

6. Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement the school’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
• Monitor school growth, admissions, and institutional development.
• Ensure effective financial management and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in any discipline.
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms); M.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of teaching experience, including 3–5 years in leadership roles (Vice Principal/Coordinator/Principal).

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
