Job Description
The Lethbridge Herald is looking for a full-time reporter for our five-day-a-week paper (Tuesday-Saturday). Previous experience is an asset but most of all we're looking for someone who is keenly interested in telling stories and producing high-quality content for our award-winning newspaper. Recent graduates are welcome to apply, but a high output is expected (two to three stories per day minimum). The Lethbridge Herald is part of the Alberta Newspaper Group, which includes two dailies and several weeklies covering southern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan, with access to a number of experienced mentors to help you develop and grow as a journalist. Strong writing and photography skills
Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
A journalism degree/diploma and/or previous experience is ideal
