Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Reference Data Analyst to join a leading organization in the financial services industry.

This role is part of a global team responsible for maintaining and analyzing critical security reference data.

You will play a vital role in ensuring data accuracy, conducting root-cause analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.

Based in Baltimore, MD (Hybrid). Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour (W2)

• Contract: 12+ months.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the quality of securities reference data, including equities, listed derivatives, and fixed-income products.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify data trends and inaccuracies, recommending opportunities for efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, data providers, and external vendors to maintain data integrity.
• Escalate potential risks and resolve data exceptions with a sense of urgency.
• Acquire a deep understanding of the organization's product data and its impact on business processes.

Required Qualifications

• Some understanding of the financial services industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Quick learner with a result-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or a related field (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SQL, databases, or macros.
