Job Description
As a Senior Accountant at our company, your primary role will involve managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating books of accounts in Tally and ERP systems
- Preparing financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account
- Performing account analysis, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Generating and presenting MIS reports for management decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with TDS, GST, Income Tax, Company Law, and FEMA regulations
- Handling filing of returns and managing compliance portals (Income Tax, GST, MCA, etc.)
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of Tally, ERP software, and accounting principles
- In-depth understanding of taxation and regulatory compliances in India
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
- CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred but not mandatory)
