Job Description

As a Senior Accountant at our company, your primary role will involve managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating books of accounts in Tally and ERP systems
  • Preparing financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account
  • Performing account analysis, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Generating and presenting MIS reports for management decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with TDS, GST, Income Tax, Company Law, and FEMA regulations
  • Handling filing of returns and managing compliance portals (Income Tax, GST, MCA, etc.)
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of Tally, ERP software, and accounting principles
  • In-depth understanding of taxation and regulatory compliances in India
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
  • CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred but not mandatory)
