Medical Laboratory Assistant / Medical Receptionist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Assistant /medical receptionist to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the laboratory operations and ensuring accurate and timely test results. Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare patient specimens for testing, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a sterile and safe working environment
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory /clinic

Experience

• Prior experience working in a laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
