Now Hiring: Assistant Company Manager – High-Volume, our office is located in the heart of Laurel, MD called Laurel Dentist. We are accepting great fitting candidates at both locations.
Are you a seasoned Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Officer ready to level up your career? We are now seeking an Front Desk Receptionist to work directly alongside our Office Managers and Company Manager in managing day-to-day operations. This is a rare and exciting opportunity with the goal of eventually running your own office or advancing into a higher-level leadership role within the company.
We here at Laurel Dentist are a dynamic, well-established dental organization who are committed to creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Our team works together to provide modern, high quality dental care in a friendly and supportive environment. We are looking for a dedicated professional who values teamwork, patient care, and continuous learning while contributing to a practice that prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient comfort.
We are also a close knit group and regularly do staff outings and events just to unwind and have a good time. Staff moral and happiness is of utmost importance because that's the energy we want to have day in and day out.
Our leadership structure includes:
1. Front Desk Receptionist and Administrative Assistant (With opportunity to move up in position)
2. Office Managers at each location
2. One Company Manager overseeing all locations
3. One CEO leading the organization
Your Role:
1. Partner with the Company Manager and Office Manager to oversee daily operations.
2. Support, guide, and mentor rest of staff to foster high-performing teams
3. Monitor and improve workflows, team efficiency, and office systems
4. Help resolve challenges quickly and professionally
5. Promote a structured yet positive work culture. Be kind (we don’t do bullies!)
6. Keep everything on track through exceptional organization, communication, and follow-through
7. Learn high-level management skills to prepare for future leadership
What We’re Looking For:
1. A strong combination of clinical and administrative experience in dentistry (minimum 5 years total)
2. Proven experience in Front Desk Receptionist and Administrative Assistant
3. Strong computer literacy and typing proficiency
4. Confident leadership with excellent multitasking skills
5. A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
6. Someone who leads by example and balances professionalism with approachability
This position is ideal for someone who has been in the dental field for a long time and wants the opportunity to move up to the next step and work for a company that values their leaders and helps promote them to higher levels of employment and lifestyle. Someone who is stuck at a stagnant position with a stagnant office, and is eager to grow under the guidance of our seasoned Company Manager and eventually move up to upper-level management position.
