Brooklyn-based live streaming production house Launch Live Now is seeking a production assistant to join the startup for 10 weeks. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller, eager to learn in a newsroom-like environment about the most cutting edge technology driving the newest wave of content creation: live streaming. Potential for a part or full-time contract position at conclusion of the 10-week contract.
When: Starts June 23, 2026 (somewhat flexible)
Pay: Part-time, $25/hr, 20 hrs per week (flexible), in-person at Greenpoint studio
Requirements
Must be NYC-based
Familiarity with social media platforms: YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram
Familiarity with design software like Canva
2+ years experience with video editing software like Premiere (non-work related experience acceptable)
Willing to learn cutting edge live streaming software and production
Ability to communicate effectively in moments of high pressure
Experience that’s a plus, but not required:
Photoshop, Slack, OBS Studio, Opus Clip, Megaphone
Any client or talent-facing experience
Initial duties:
Assist with live show prep including graphics, guest check-ins, etc.
Train with technical director and showrunner during live streams
Publish completed live episodes as a podcast after basic editing
