ATC - Technician - Assembly

• Responsible to execute activities for metallic parts asper daily plan assigned
• Improve responsiveness to customer needs
• Maintain quality standards and requirements in activitiesand output produced from assembly
• Effective utilization of resources.
• 100% Adherence to standard operation procedures to delivercomponents parts with Zero defects.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Responsible to execute activities in assemblyfunction to ensure on time delivery ofDefect free products, Spares and services

Execution of assembly activities and looking forways for improvement /driving continual improvement initiatives ideated by senior leaders onQuality, Delivery and Cost

Follow/ suggest updation in assembly processesto enable continuous reduction in costof production and work with a culture of cost consciousness in the organisation

Work towards for maintaining COPQ(Cost of PoorQuality) from assembly processes withinthe acceptable target limits

Ensure responsiveness to customer needs

Work with SIC and team for Customer complaint Analysis and resolutionand Solving of key critical complaintsusing QC story methodology

Work with the SIC to ensure amendments thatarise due to internal and external customer requirements are met accurately

Execute daily work load assigned by supervisors& Engineers

Adhering the Cylce time for all production parts

Collect the BOM parts from assembly stores andVerify with router & MTS for operation.

Ensure the availability materials are providedby the assembly stores to achieve the target.

Following & Maintaining the TQM and 5s inmetallic shop

Optimum utilization of resources like (Material,Machine)

Manufacturing the FAI, Production parts outputwith 100% quality

Following the Route card & Process documentexecuting the activities as per process AOP's

Guide the fresh technicians on job training toimprove their skill level

Ensure the machine/tool is working to therequired level to meet the targets

Assembly work instructions to be followed, usingof Pneumatic Hand tools and cutting tools.

Working Knowledge on Consumables specification, Preparation &

Application and shelf life, Expiry details

Jigs & Fixtures calibration to check beforestarting of work.

Ensure the inspection parameters as mentioned inMTS by filling SIR report with respective calibrated instruments

Stages to be moved on ERP after completing thework order operations.

OLE (Work order scanning) should be achievedmore than 90 percentage as planned.

Follow PPE In Workplace & Identify Near missand implemented kaizen for every month.

Working knowledge on Bush & Helicoil and Pininstallation operations

Work with the automation team to identify usecases and drive automation / process improvement initiatives within theassembly function

Update oneself on the latest technologies andtools within assembly and suggest / use these within the function

Drive continuous learning and skilling ofoperators on soft and hard skills essential for the assembly department

Track performance measures of the operators andindividuals to consistently provide feedback and improve performance
