Applicants selected must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance; Therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Research security events using internal and open-source tools.
Respond to health and welfare alerts.
Perform network, system, and security audits.
Escalate incidents using established policies and procedures.
Author and maintain support documentation.
Learn and attend training on new, unfamiliar technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Professional understanding of Linux RHEL/CentOS.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Experience analyzing and investigating security alerts using open-source tools.
- Basic understanding of network architecture and system performance bottlenecks.
- Basic knowledge of cyber security principles, tools, and devices.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies.
Education
- Relevant college degree plus one year of experience, or three years of relevant experience
