Role Overview:
You will be working as an Instrumentation Designer with 5-12 years of experience. Your main responsibility will be to provide discipline-specific design and drafting services, offering technical support and supervision within your discipline and to other disciplines. You will need to deliver design and drafting services that meet client requirements and comply with statutory and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will be required to manage and supervise design and draft assignments as per project requirements, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Your tasks will include ensuring project scope clarity, participating in studies and analyses, preparing engineering drawings and documentation, and participating in project reviews when necessary. You will also be providing technical support and advice to your team and project teams, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and possibly acting as the lead on specific projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide discipline-specific design and drafting services
- Ensure project scope clarity and compliance with change management processes
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation
- Check all drawings and documents in accordance with client procedures
- Provide technical support, supervision, and advice to the team and project teams
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and make presentations as required
- Identify and solve issues and problems, seeking assistance when needed
Qualifications Required:
- Substantial design and drafting experience in the relevant discipline within the same or similar industry
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams
- Proficiency in software such as E3D, AutoCAD, SPI, PDS, and Microstation
