Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Packing & Dispatch Supervisor (Executive / Sr. Executive) to manage end-to-end packing and dispatch operations. The role involves ensuring accurate packing, timely shipment of products, adherence to quality standards, and efficient manpower utilization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise packing operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer requirements
- Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Prepare and verify packing lists, shipping documents, and dispatch records
- Ensure proper packing as per CRGO steel specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
- Monitor inventory levels of packing materials and initiate timely replenishment
- Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and company standards during packing and dispatch
- Train, guide, and supervise team members on packing procedures and best practices
- Manage manpower allocation and improve productivity on the shop floor
- Track, analyze, and report packing and dispatch performance metrics
- Coordinate with production, quality, and planning teams for smooth operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline
- 2–6 years of experience in packing and dispatch operations (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience in handling CRGO steel packing requirements is an added advantage
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and customer specifications
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle operational challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of packing materials, methods, and standards
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings (CRGO preferred)
- Strong manpower handling and productivity management skills
