Job Overview we are looking for Commission based a purchasing manager with minimum 3 years related experience for providing products of companies in Toronto and GTA.
Must have your own car.
Duties
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with manufacturing needs and company goals.
- Manage vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value.
- Coordinate sourcing efforts for raw materials, components, and services required for production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and finance to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier documentation for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, sourcing strategies, negotiation, and contract management.
- Familiarity with supply chain principles, procurement best practices, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pricing options and optimize costs.
- Effective communication skills for negotiating with suppliers and collaborating across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: $5,000.00-$15,000.00 per month
