Job Description

Kraftonomics Agro is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and support management through timely reporting and financial insights. The role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing accounting processes, supervising a small team, and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely closure of accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage GST/TDS/income tax filings and coordinate audits (internal, statutory, and tax audits).
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor expenses against budgets and recommend cost-control measures.

Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor accounting executives and junior team members.
  • Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by the team.
  • Drive process discipline and improve team efficiency.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Ensure effective use of ERP/accounting software.
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls.
  • Support automation and digitization initiatives within finance operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred).
  • 5–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
