Business central Senior Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Supply Chain Consultant to support and deliver end-to-end implementations across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory, and Warehouse processes. This role includes functional design, configuration, data migration, UAT, go‑live, and providing L2/L3 support in a steady-state environment.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Commerce, or equivalent.
• Preferred: MB‑800 – Business Central Functional Consultant certification.

Conduct requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis, and prepare functional documentation (BRD/FD).

• Configure BC SCM modules: Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Item Tracking, Warehousing (basic/advanced), Planning (MRP/MPS).
• Drive UAT, cutover, and go-live activities; deliver user training and SOP documentation.
• Manage data migration using RapidStart/Configuration Packages.
• Coordinate integrations with 3PL, EDI, shipping, or external systems in collaboration with technical teams.
• Provide L2/L3 support, analyze root cause issues, and deliver minor enhancements.
• Support platform updates, regression testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tech).
• Maintain knowledge base, training materials, and process documentation.

7–10 years experience in D365 Business Central / NAV, with at least 4 full-cycle implementations in SCM and finance

• Strong functional experience in P2P, O2C, Inventory, Warehousing (bins, picks, put‑aways), Item Tracking (lot/serial). GL, AP, AR, Asset managment, Cash and bank management, Budgeting
• Experience with Demand Forecast, Planning Worksheet, MRP/MPS.
• Knowledge of Intercompany, Item Charges, Posting Groups, Dimensions.
• Hands‑on experience with Configuration Packages and data validation.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work with onsite-offshore teams.
• Exposure to AL basics, ability to work with developers on extensions.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate / basic Canvas Apps).
• Experience with ISVs: WMS, EDI, Quality, Shipping solutions.
• Manufacturing module knowledge is a plus.
