Senior ETL Developer - Data Pipeline

Role Overview:

As a Senior ETL Developer at KPMG in India, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Talend data pipelines to seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources. Your role will involve providing actionable insights for informed decision-making across the organization. You will also be required to have a sound understanding of databases for storing structured and unstructured data using optimized modeling techniques. Additionally, familiarity with data catalog and data quality modules, especially with Talend, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into ETL solutions.
• Develop comprehensive architecture and design documentation for the data landscape.
• Implement and oversee development testing to ensure the reliability and performance of solutions.
• Adhere to coding standards, comply with information security protocols, and best practices.
• Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in the design and development of Talend-based ETL solutions.

Qualifications Required:

• Core Tool exposure to Talend Data Integrator, Talend Data Catalog, Talend Data Quality, and Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in ETL, data load strategy, data modeling, data governance and management, query optimization, and performance enhancement.
• Familiarity with cloud services providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, query tuning, optimization, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate thoughts and convince key stakeholders.
• Capability to guide and upskill team members.
