Component Technician

Kovatera is currently recruiting for the position of a Shop Apprentice Technician to work out of Sudbury, Ontario. This Component Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on Kovatera components in the shop.

• *Responsibility & Work Activities**:
• Willing to work on components such as axles and transmissions
• Willing to learn to diagnose faults or malfunctions of components. Adjust, repair, or replace all defective mining and material handling equipment parts
• Willing to learn and test components; display extensive knowledge and understanding our Kovatera Equipment
• Demonstrate strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting ability
• Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
• *Requirements**:
• Preferred college education
• trade school or willing to enroll in trade school
• Responsible and trustworthy with a good safety record
• Reporting directly to the Service Lead hand (Steve Richer)

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
