Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with leadership capabilities to drive data‑driven decision making, manage reporting processes, and support business growth initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree with Good written and verbal communication skills, excellent Analytical skills with a capability to understand, visualize and represent the data & drive the projects end to end.
  • Good knowledge of advanced Power BI, Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate ,SSMS and MS-OFFICE. Good understanding of SQL, Python and SharePoint, SAP MM. Expert in DAX queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Design and implement dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross functional‑ teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision making.
  • Supervise and mentor junior analysts, ensuring quality and timely delivery of outputs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or third‑party data sources when required.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Experience requirement:

  • Must-Have’s 9-11 Years of experience in the technologies below
  • Power BI Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on performance and usability.
  • Build robust data models using Power BI Desktop, ensuring optimal relationships and calculated columns/measures using DAX.
  • Perform data transformation using Power Query (M) and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement row-level security, data refresh schedules, and manage Power BI workspaces effectively.
  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric components like Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks for scalable data engineering.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, performance optimization, and visualization best practices.
  • Ability to guide junior analysts and coordinate with procurement teams
  • Ability to ensure data quality, execute data strategies, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Power Automate (Flow) Development:
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows
  • Configure connectors and triggers for ERP and SharePoint integration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation failures.
  • Documentation & Governance:
  • Prepare runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation for all solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with naming conventions and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 9–11 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, Power Automate
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Azure Synapse, and cloud data architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Developing structured plans for procurement automation projects
  • Ability to ensure data quality, execute data strategies, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Experience in managing small teams or projects & lead them end to end.
  • Ability to guide junior analysts and coordinate with procurement teams
  • Skill in analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Identifying inefficiencies and proposing structured solutions and drive projects.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and business needs.
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive, results oriented mindset.

Added Advantage:

  • Understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate capabilities and use cases.
  • Awareness of operations and manufacturing processes and KPIs.
  • Ability to translate domain-specific requirements into effective BI solutions.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (if available)
