NRSI seeks two enthusiastic Field Biologists focused on turtle surveys in Kingston, Ontario. This role involves data collection on habitats and populations, ensuring safe field operations and organization. As a Field Biologist with NRSI, you will coordinate field crew activities and oversee data management.
You’ll collaborate with project managers while conducting essential radio telemetry and mark-capture surveys. This position offers an opportunity to make substantial contributions to ecological monitoring from June 29, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule field crew and manage day-to-day tasks
- Organize field equipment and manage data
- Communicate regularly with project managers
- Participate in field activities and ensure safety protocols
- Conduct radio telemetry and mark-capture surveys Requirements:
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions
- Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
- Dependable and flexible with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and age 21 or older
