Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Histology Technician located in Hyderabad. The Histology Technician is responsible for preparing and processing tissue samples, applying histological techniques, and assisting pathologists with laboratory work. Routine tasks include embedding, sectioning, staining tissues, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality control standards. Additionally, the technician may collaborate with healthcare professionals to support pathology evaluations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Histology techniques and processes, including embedding, sectioning, and staining
• Understanding of core Pathology principles to assist in accurate diagnostics
• Strong Laboratory Skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle complex equipment
• Experience with Quality Control procedures to maintain lab standards and adherence to protocols
• ASCP certification or equivalent credentials preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Biology or Medical Laboratory Science
