We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Associate Pharmacy professional to join our pharmacy team and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per doctors' prescriptions and hospital policies.
- Verify prescriptions for completeness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchase team for timely replenishment.
- Check expiry dates and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices for stock management.
- Maintain pharmacy records, billing, and documentation accurately.
- Provide patients and attendants with clear instructions regarding medication usage.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for medication-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and statutory regulations.
- Participate in stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Report medication discrepancies or adverse events to the Pharmacy In-charge immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration (where applicable).
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy management software and MS Office.
- Good understanding of drug storage, dispensing procedures, and inventory control.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software and billing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Team-oriented attitude with a patient-centric approach.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and hospital software).
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
