Whether they’re studying matrices, mitosis, or multivariable calculus, we want to offer students the resources to realize that they can learn anything.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ABOUT KHAN ACADEMY INDIA</strong></p> <p>Khan Academy India aims to deliver a world-class user experience to learners in India that is locally relevant and are enabled by a strong on-the-ground team and operations. Our learning system is mastery-based, which allows students to master key concepts at a pace that’s right for them before moving on to more challenging content. From serving under 500,000 learners in 2016, we are now serving almost 4 million learners a month across our websites, apps, and YouTube channels. These learners include both independent learners accessing us at home, and teacher-directed learners in schools.&nbsp; Our focus is to reach the underserved by making our content accessible in local languages and by working with <strong>large public school systems</strong>. Khan Academy is already available in Assamese, Hindi, Hinglish, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, and Punjabi.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong><br><br>As the Manager/Assistant Manager- Partnerships &amp; Fundraising, you will shape and execute Khan Academy India’s fundraising strategy. You will build and manage relationships with donors, expand our funding pipeline, and translate our product vision into compelling long-term philanthropic opportunities.</p> <p>This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, strong execution, and cross-functional collaboration.</p> <p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p><strong>Strategy &amp; Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with the Head of Partnerships &amp; Fundraising to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy for India</li> <li>Identify and prioritise new donor segments, partnerships, and funding opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Donor Management &amp; Stewardship</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and deepen relationships with existing donors through regular engagement and strategic reviews</li> <li>Ensure strong alignment between donor priorities and Khan Academy’s mission and programs</li> </ul> <p><strong>Fundraising Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts, including prospecting, pipeline development, and donor outreach</li> <li>Develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and communication materials for foundations and individual donors</li> <li>Represent Khan Academy at conferences, events, and networking forums</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-functional Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with product, program, and finance teams to align fundraising efforts with organisational priorities</li> <li>Ensure timely and high-quality donor reporting in line with expectations</li> </ul> <p><strong>YOU NEED</strong></p> <ul> <li>5–10 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years in a partnerships or fundraising role within nonprofits, foundations, or corporate CSR functions&nbsp;</li> <li>A demonstrable track record of securing and stewarding major gifts and large institutional grants, with the ability to translate organisational vision into compelling cases for support.</li> <li>Strong project management instincts, with a bias toward execution over process.</li> <li>Sharp attention to detail and exceptional written communication skills — with the ability to tailor tone, depth, and framing across audiences, from donor proposals and grant reports to internal briefs and leadership decks.</li> <li>A Master's degree in public policy, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.</li> <li>A genuine belief in the power of education to drive systemic change — this one isn't negotiable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p> <ul> <li>Send your resume to <strong>niharika@khanacademy.org</strong> with <strong>shuchi@khanacademy.org</strong> in CC.
