About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with around 1-2 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, capable of identifying both surface-level and deep-rooted issues in running projects, and adept at testing a variety of tech stacks, including MERN , WordPress and other technologies

IMPORTANT: EXTENSIVE USAGE OF AI IS A MUST FOR THE JOB. SO IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE AI FOR QA THEN YOU ARE THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing on web applications built on MERN stack, WordPress, and other platforms.
• Analyze project requirements and create effective test plans and test cases.
• Execute thorough regression, functional, usability, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality at every stage of the software lifecycle.
• Evaluate and improve QA processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide both qualitative feedback (user experience, UI/UX) and quantitative data (test coverage, bug rates) to inform project decisions.
• Work independently and manage time efficiently during the assigned shift (6:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST).

Requirements

• Around 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience testing MERN stack and WordPress projects is a must.
• Ability to quickly dive into existing projects and spot issues efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written – must be able to document and communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently during late evening hours (IST).
