We are currently seeking a

Staff Accountant

with

2–3 years of experience at a Canadian CPA firm

who is looking to deepen their technical skills and grow within a modern public practice.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare corporate (T2), personal (T1), and trust (T3) tax returns
• Assist with assurance engagements (review & compilation; audit exposure is an asset)
• Prepare working papers and financial statements for owner-managed businesses
• Assist with CRA correspondence and routine client queries
• Work directly with managers and partners on tax and accounting matters
• Use cloud-based tools (CaseWare, QBO, Microsoft ecosystem)

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience at a

Canadian CPA firm

(non-negotiable)

• Enrolled in, or completed, the

CPA PEP program (We are an approved firm)

• Strong understanding of Canadian tax and accounting fundamentals
• Experience with T1/T2 preparation and year-end engagements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a smaller firm where your work actually matters

Nice to Have

• Experience with CaseWare, Taxprep, QBO and iFirm
• Exposure to not-for-profit or professional corporations
