We are hiring an experienced Structural Engineer (Civil) specializing in steel bridge design and analysis. The role requires hands-on expertise in ANSYS, along with a strong understanding of IRC national & international bridge codes. The engineer will be responsible for structural analysis, detailed design, and technical coordination to ensure safe and efficient execution of projects such as bridges, flyovers, and complex civil structures.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform structural analysis and detailed design of steel bridges, flyovers, and related structures using ANSYS.
· Ensure compliance with IRC standards and relevant national & international bridge codes.
· Prepare and review design reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
· Provide technical support to execution teams during construction.
· Update and modify design documents as per site conditions and client requirements.
· Conduct site visits to validate design implementation, safety, and quality standards.
· Design solutions for rehabilitation/strengthening of existing bridges and structures.
· Check and approve drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
· Ensure timely and quality delivery of design deliverables as per contractual requirements.
· Introduce innovative approaches in analysis and design using the latest codes and standards.
· Manage archiving of drawings, reports, and related technical documentation.
· Coordinate with internal teams and report progress to the Top Management.
Qualifications & Skills
- B. Tech / B.E. with M.E. / M. Tech in Civil (Structural Engineering).
- Experience in structural analysis and detailed design.
- Proven experience in the design of steel bridges.
- Mandatory expertise in ANSYS structural analysis software.
- Strong understanding of national and international design codes.
- Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
