Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations - Retail/Commerce Development Engineer to join a dynamic Randstad client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Retail/Commerce projects, with a strong understanding of MPOS/Store Commerce, HQ deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. They should possess hands-on expertise with Microsoft technologies such as .NET, SQLServer, and SSRS. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing deployments, upgrades, customizations, and ensuring seamless integration with Revenue Accounting systems. The ability to handle client interactions, manage risks, and deliver effective solutions is crucial.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enhance and test D365 F&O HQ code fixes and configurations across environments, including regression testing.
- Deploy, upgrade, and support D365 F&O Retail/Commerce MPOS (Modern POS)/Store Commerce and HQ/CSU systems.
- Provide frontend MPOS support, API interface support, and manage customizations, extensions, and future enhancements.
- Support D365 HQ interfaces with Revenue Accounting systems.
- Manage mass deployment of MPOS upgrades and enhancements across store networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot POS setups, including printers, customer displays, scanners, hardware stations, and MPOS.
- Conduct testing and release management while performing root cause analysis for issues.
- Create or update technical design documents, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Lead client interactions, set and manage stakeholder expectations, and address scope, requirements, and risks.
- Provide expert support in managing rollouts, deployments, and store migrations.
- Work on incident management tools like ServiceNow and deliver in a multi-vendor environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience leading Microsoft D365 F&O - Commerce/Retail support projects.
- Experience with D365 F&O Commerce/AX 2012 Retail implementations and support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, SQLServer, SSRS, and related development tools.
- Familiarity with the Finance & SCM domains and the ability to manage complex, multi-vendor environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and risk management skills.
