Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you will play a crucial role as a seasoned member of an agile team. Your primary focus will be to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will be responsible for executing software solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively to build solutions and solve technical problems efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
  • Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
  • Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large and diverse data sets to enhance software applications and systems
  • Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and events that focus on exploring new and emerging technologies
  • Fostering a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

You are required to have the following qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 3 years of applied experience
  • 5 years of experience in testing applications, including manual and automated testing
  • Experience in testing mobile apps such as IOS
  • Proficiency in testing applications developed using various SDLC methodologies like Agile
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration across different business and technology teams
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
  • SQA Analysis skills, including the ability to comprehend business requirements, create detailed test cases, and map them to business requirements
  • Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Selenium Web Driver, Eclipse IDE, Maven, and similar tools
  • Experience with ALM, JIRA, or other similar tools for Test cases and Defect Management
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, SQL, API testing, JSON Message validations
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong time management abilities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
