Intermediate React Native Developer

Our client is seeking an Intermediate React Native Developer responsible for building scalable cross-platform mobile features, integrating native modules, and collaborating with architects and product teams to deliver high-performance mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

Must Have skills

• React Native development for cross-platform mobile applications
• TypeScript and modern React development (Hooks, Context API, functional components)
• Mobile state management tools (Redux, Recoil, or Zustand)
• Integration of native modules and platform-specific configurations (iOS/Android)
• Mobile performance optimization, debugging, and memory management
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release workflows

Nice to have skills

• Experience working within large mobile engineering teams or multi-team environments
• Brownfield React Native integration into existing native apps
• React Native for Web development
• Shared cross-platform design systems and component libraries

• Stay updated with emerging React Native tools, frameworks, and development practices.

Additional information

• 5–7 years of professional mobile development experience with 3+ years in React Native.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern React patterns.
• Understanding of mobile architecture concepts, including async operations and data flow management.
• Hands-on experience working with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java) codebases.
• Experience bridging native modules and managing platform-specific configurations.
• Familiarity with Expo SDK, EAS Build, and OTA update workflows.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile release processes.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in hybrid environments.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced product environments.
