About the position
Are you passionate about spacecraft Mission Design, Navigation, and Guidance and Control? Would you love to apply your technical knowledge and creativity to make innovative contributions to some of the nation’s spectacular space missions? If you are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a similar field, we would love for you to join our team at APL! We are seeking an intern to help the Astrodynamics and Control Systems group develop, analyze, test, and deliver spacecraft for NASA. We would love to have you apply your talents to our challenges. As an intern you will contribute to the development of some of our nation 's most critical space missions, joining a hardworking team of engineers who strive to deliver game-changing solutions. We are passionate about our work and committed to making critical contributions to critical challenges. As an intern on the Astrodynamics and Control Systems team, you will support experienced engineers in the design, development, and operations of NASA funded missions, such as Dragonfly, the Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe, and Parker Solar Probe.
Responsibilities
- Support experienced engineers in the design, development, and operations of NASA funded missions.
- Contribute to the development of critical space missions.
- Develop, analyze, test, and deliver spacecraft for NASA.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- US Citizenship status is required.
