We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform daily farm tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
• Care for livestock by feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Assist with equipment repair and welding as needed.
• Utilize power tools for various farm projects.
• Implement animal husbandry practices to ensure the well-being of all animals on the farm.
• Supervise other workers during peak seasons or special projects.
• Conduct basic math calculations for inventory management and record keeping.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required for moving supplies and equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with equine care is a plus.
• Experience in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently is highly desirable.
• Skills in equipment repair and welding are advantageous.
• A strong understanding of animal husbandry practices will be beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others while also being self-motivated.
