DevOps Engineer Cloud Migration (AWS & Azure AD / Entra ID)
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative as we migrate from a legacy mainframe environment to a modern AWS cloud platform, integrated with Azure AD (Entra ID).
In this role, you will work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to enable cloud-native development and operations. You will play a hands-on role in automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code, while also driving documentation, governance, and repeatable processes to ensure a scalable and successful migration.Key Responsibilities
- Support migration of applications and workloads from mainframe / on-prem systems to AWS
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Build and manage automation workflows for deployment and infrastructure provisioning
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Improve release processes, system reliability, and deployment speed
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation
- Contribute to governance, standards, and best practices for DevOps and cloud operations
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting cloud migration projects, especially from mainframe or legacy systems
- Strong DevOps background in a Windows / Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure AD (Entra ID)
- Working knowledge of AWS services
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS + Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Exposure to security best practices and compliance frameworks
