Requirements

Must have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll and benefits legislation and regulations.
  • Proven experience in the implementation and management of payroll and benefits systems.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for data assessment and report creation.
  • Proficient problem solving skills to address complex payroll and benefits dilemmas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying intricate payroll and benefits information to staff and management.
  • High integrity and discretion in managing confidential payroll and benefits information.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in payroll or benefits administration (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all team members.
  • Manage all facets of benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation and upkeep of payroll and benefits systems, guaranteeing data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve issues regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Develop and enforce payroll and benefits policies and procedures, informing employees of their benefits and usage.
  • Generate and analyze payroll and benefits reports for management review.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy.
  • Stay informed on updates in payroll and benefits legislation, adjusting company policies as necessary.
  • Foster relationships with payroll and benefits vendors to ensure top notch service and cost efficiency.
  • Provide training and assistance to HR and Finance teams about payroll and benefits processes and systems.
