Senior Product Manager, Fintech

Jobber
Full Timemanager
Edmonton, Alberta, CAPosted February 3, 2026

Job Description

Help small business owners trust their numbers and make better decisions because of it.

At Jobber, fintech isn’t a side project. It's a core part of how we help small businesses run better businesses. Our financial tools help owners get paid, access capital, and offer financing to their customers, all without pulling them away from the work they care about most. And we’re just getting started.

This role is for a senior product leader who wants to build something new, take real ownership, and be accountable for outcomes not just roadmaps.

The Team:

Fintech is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a core strategic priority for us as a company. We're investing in this growing area because we believe embedding financial tools within our product deepens our ability to help small businesses be successful. Today we help small businesses get paid via invoicing and payments, provide access to capital to invest in growth, and offer financing to our customers’ customers. But this is just the beginning of a suite of financial services that small businesses rely on to be successful.

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, Fintech, you will lead the product strategy and execution for Jobber’s newest financial services product. We are looking for a strong product leader to tackle a new problem space and build the next big thing. This is an opportunity to build a business, not just a feature, with a clear mandate to innovate, differentiate, and scale zero to one.

What you’ll do:

  • Own end-to-end product development for a new financial services product, while supporting existing capabilities as they scale.
  • Lead product discovery and delivery, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams.
  • Define and evolve the product roadmap, balancing near-term customer impact wins with long-term strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business by synthesizing customer needs, market dynamics and regulatory considerations.
  • Make thoughtful trade-offs that prioritize trust, usability, and real customer outcomes.
  • Represent the voice of small business owners,- people balancing back-office work with doing the craft that earns them a living.
  • Establish product direction in a new problem space, becoming a trusted subject-matter expert within Jobber.

What will help you succeed

We’re not looking for a checklist but this role is a strong fit if you bring:

  • Senior-level product management experience
  • A track record of taking products from early concept through launch and into scale
  • Experience building new products or business lines, not just optimizing mature ones.
  • A strong understanding of what it takes to earn and maintain user trust, especially within financial services.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity, paired with the humility to test, learn, and course-correct.
  • Clear, direct communication and the ability to align teams around priorities and decisions.
  • A bias towards action, paired with accountability for results - not just effort.
  • Bonus points for experience in Fintech, payments, lending or regulated environments.

Location:

We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect. To support this, the role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.

Compensation

At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $145,900, a midpoint of $171,600, and a maximum salary of $197,400, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.

We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience, and against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.

Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us, too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development.

We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process!

What you can expect from Jobber:

  • A total compensation package
