Description : Job Title : Progress DBA - Pro2SQL.Experience : 5+ Years.Work Mode : Remote.Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Progress Database Administrator (DBA) with strong Pro2SQL replication expertise to manage and support database environments.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database performance, availability, and seamless data replication between Progress OpenEdge and SQL Server.Key Responsibilities : - Administer, monitor, and maintain Progress OpenEdge databases across development, testing, and production environments.- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Pro2SQL replication between Progress OpenEdge and SQL Server.- Perform database backup, recovery, dump & load, upgrades, and patching.- Monitor database performance and optimize database operations.- Ensure data integrity and consistency across replicated environments.- Work closely with development and application teams to support deployments and database activities.- Maintain documentation for database configurations and operational procedures.Required Skills & Experience : - 5+ years of experience as a Progress OpenEdge DBA.- Hands-on experience with Pro2SQL replication setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.- Strong knowledge of Progress OpenEdge database architecture.- Experience working with SQL Server.- Familiarity with Linux/Unix or Windows server environments.- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Skills : - Experience working with cloud-hosted Progress environments.- Knowledge of ETL processes or data migration.- Exposure to DevOps or database automation tools.
