Qualifications: M. Sc. (Organic Chemistry/ Chemistry) or B.Tech (Oils/Polymers/Pharma) with minimum 3 years of working experience in QA & QC and R&D function in the synthetic chemistry/ synthetic polymer chemistry or Oils & Fats industry.

Requisite Skills & Knowledge for this Position:

• Profound knowledge of chemicals, chemical processes and testing methods as per standards
• Operating knowledge of Analytical Lab Instruments and Glassware
• Good communication good written and verbal English and Hindi communication, ability to interact with superiors and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to think and take initiatives

Job Role:

• New product/ process development and existing product/ process modification
• Commercial scale up of new products/ processes developed in the laboratory

Key Responsibilities: Execution of projects assigned by management in a timely and accurate manner

Job Description

a. Process Development for New & Existing Products:

• Understand new product specifications with or without guidance from Sr. Manager & Director for developing new product/ process
• Conduct laboratory trials & record the relevant observations
• Use literature surveys (internet, journals, patents, external libraries, etc.) to understand new product data/ process standardization
• Suggest alternate methods of development based on past experience or data
• Chemical analysis of new products

b. Commercial scale up:

• Taking pilot & plant scale trials at the plant & demonstrating & training of the Plant personnel for commercial production including testing of Raw materials, intermediates and final products, requirements of equipment, manpower, QCTo check if utilities and production infrastructure is adequate
• Formal handover of product/ process to factory team
