Essential Responsibilities:

• Greets patients and escorts to exam rooms. Vital check and Intake, will be trained to perform EKG, Body Composition Scale for weight loss, ABI vascular check, handle the lab samples, injections and/or phlebotomy, and assists providers. Implements quality control standards.
• Crossed trained for front desk. Responds quickly and courteously to phone calls and requests. Seeks assistance from supervisor and others appropriately.
• Ensures that equipment and supplies necessary to carry out patient care activities are available and usable and the environment is clean and organized. Cleans rooms after patient usage and ensures appropriate disposal of contaminated materials. Tracks, orders and maintains supplies and equipment, restocks supplies.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• AthenaNet EMR experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Asst.
