Position Title: Sr. Payroll Executive

Location: Head Office, Zirakpur

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to ₹45,000 per month

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations and statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws, hands-on experience with payroll processing, taxation, and compliance reporting, and the ability to handle employee queries efficiently. This role requires close coordination with HR, Finance, auditors, and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.

Candidates with 4–8 years of payroll experience, preferably in a corporate or healthcare environment, will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, bonuses, arrears, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Handle statutory compliances including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, etc.
  • Prepare, review, and file payroll-related statutory returns and reports within defined timelines.
  • Manage income tax calculations, employee tax declarations, Form 16 and Form 24Q.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll-related queries and discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, auditors, and external consultants for payroll audits and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records while ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Support year-end payroll activities, audits, and statutory compliance checks.
  • Train and guide junior payroll executives when required.
  • Work with payroll software to ensure system accuracy, updates, and process improvements.

Key Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 4–8 years of experience in payroll management.
  • Strong experience in handling statutory compliances and payroll audits.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian payroll laws and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or any discipline
  • MBA / PGDM in HR or Finance is an added advantage
