Role Overview

As JATO Dynamics expands its presence in the MENA region, particularly in the GCC, we are seeking an Automotive Data Specialist based in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the continuous collection of automotive data, including pricing, specifications, and options for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles within Saudi Arabia. The specialist will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data updates in JATO databases and efficiently manage customization projects. The successful candidate will be employed by JATO Dynamics FZCO (DMCC) in Dubai, UAE, and will work remotely from Saudi Arabia, focusing on the Western and Central regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust network with importers and regional headquarters to ensure consistent and timely access to essential automotive datasets.
• Monitor automotive market activities and gather pertinent data and information according to assigned tasks, inputting it into JATO databases using proprietary tools and adhering to established procedures.
• Process and publish necessary modifications within JATO's proprietary systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and specific directives from head office.
• Analyze documentation to ascertain details of specific changes and ensure alignment with JATO's definitions, data structures, and existing vehicle information.
• Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to uphold and enhance the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the data.
• Implement data corrections and updates as instructed by Data Operations Management and the Centre of Excellence.
• Utilize strong networking and influencing capabilities (both internal and external, primary and secondary sources) to gather additional relevant information and maintain a consistent flow of high-quality data.
• Stay informed about the evolving KSA automotive market and share key insights with the MENA regional management and head office.
• Prepare articles in both English and Arabic for JATO’s International Electronic News Service (JATO News).
• Perform on-site vehicle assessments by visiting dealerships, manufacturers, and importers.
• Effectively resolve customer inquiries as part of JATO’s customer support and escalation protocols.
• Assist Sales Management by identifying customer needs, generating potential leads based on those needs, and serving as the initial point of contact for Saudi-based customers.
• Track local and international automotive market events to ensure comprehensive market coverage.

Key Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national with 1-3 years of recent, relevant experience in the Saudi Arabian automotive sector, acquired through direct involvement or comprehensive training in product or marketing research within automotive manufacturers, importers, or leasing firms.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related discipline.
• Demonstrate strong customer relationship management abilities and a proven capacity to build effective professional networks.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the automotive industry and vehicle technology.
• Possess the ability to concentrate on intricate details and manage substantial data volumes accurately.
• Apply strong analytical thinking and a data-centric approach to ensure high-quality data collection and validation.
• Be proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and possess strong general computer skills for data management and reporting.
• Exhibit high levels of self-motivation, proactivity, and the ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of commitment and accountability.
• Be results-oriented with exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to meet stringent deadlines.
• A demonstrated interest in or prior experience within the automotive sector is preferred.
• Be prepared for occasional travel to the Head Office in the UK and UAE.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.
• Must be legally authorized to work in both the UAE and KSA.

• Follow local and international automotive market events to ensure comprehensive market coverage.

Requirements

• Saudi nationality with 1–3 years of recent experience in the KSA automotive sector, gained through hands-on work or substantial training in product or marketing research at automotive manufacturers, importers, or leasing companies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to build effective networks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Arabic and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
• Solid working knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicle technology is essential.
• Ability to focus on detailed information and manage large volumes of data with accuracy.
• Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven mindset to ensure high-quality data collection and validation.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with excellent computer skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with strong commitment and accountability.
• Results-oriented with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Interest and/or prior experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
