Service Advisor ( Commercial Vehicle ) (India)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with mechanics to understand required repairs and suggest cost-effective alternatives.
• Provide detailed information on services, parts, and repair options to management and customers.
• Handle customer queries regarding service outcomes, timelines, and scheduling.
• Manage appointment bookings, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups.
• Advise customers on warranties, cost-saving options, and vehicle replacement vs. repair decisions.
• Maintain solid customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Clearly explain services performed and associated costs; handle billing and payments.
• Coordinate with technicians for parts ordering and ensure availability on time.
• Keep management updated on service progress and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial vehicle service industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and industry practices.
• Experience in automotive/service-related roles preferred.
• Familiarity with service management software.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and management.
• Diploma/Associate degree in Mechanics or related field (preferred).
