Designation: NuGenesis SDMS System Administrator

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent technical experience in system administration within regulated environments may also be considered

Certifications (Preferred):

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / AWS Solutions Architect (Associate)
• Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) – Virtualization
• Any certification related to Cloud Administration or Infrastructure Management

Experience: Minimum 3+ years hands-on working with NuGenesis SDMS administration and infrastructure support

Work Timing: Work schedule can be split into 4 hours PM (IST) and 4 hours AM (PST) working hours once KT (Knowledge Transfer) days are completed for new Joiners – During KT Period (i.e. 3 months) work schedule will be complete US (PST) working hours.

Job Role: We are seeking an experienced NuGenesis SDMS System Administrator to manage, maintain and optimize the NuGenesis Scientific Data Management System (SDMS) infrastructure. The role involves supporting application availability, server administration, cloud infrastructure (AWS), Citrix environments and ensuring system security, patching and compliance within regulated environments such as Life Sciences, Pharma, or Laboratories. The candidate will collaborate with IT infrastructure, application teams and business stakeholders to ensure stable, secure and high-performing SDMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure and maintain NuGenesis SDMS environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Manage Citrix server infrastructure supporting SDMS user access and application delivery.
• Perform system patching, upgrades and maintenance for servers and SDMS-related components.
• Support and manage AWS cloud infrastructure hosting SDMS environments including monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Monitor system health, logs and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain security policies, access controls and compliance standards for regulated environments.
• Coordinate with application support teams for SDMS upgrades, deployments and environment management.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations, SOPs and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in NuGenesis SDMS system administration.
• Strong experience with Citrix Server administration and virtualized application environments.
• Experience managing infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and system maintenance.
• Experience in server patching, security updates and system health monitoring.
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery and high availability setups.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as Pharma, Life Sciences, or Laboratories.

Desired Skills

• Experience with database administration (SQL Server / Oracle) supporting SDMS environments.
• Knowledge of automation scripting (PowerShell / Python) for system maintenance tasks.
• Experience supporting GxP / 21 CFR Part 11 compliant systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and infrastructure management platforms.
