As a General Ledger Accountant at ISS STOXX, located in Mumbai (Goregaon East), your role will involve managing the accounting procedures for the EMEA region. Your main responsibilities will include handling daily financial operations, month-end close for EMEA entities, and collaborating with the finance team to meet month-end requirements efficiently. Responsibilities

• Independently handle month-end close for EMEA entities.
• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliation, MIS, and bank reconciliations.
• Analyze trial balance, identify corrections, and make necessary adjusting entries.
• Coordinate with auditors and in-house teams for interim and statutory audits of EMEA entities.
• Review and approve invoices, expenses, and process journal entries.
• Create and maintain fixed asset register and prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Handle projects, prepare reports, and conduct financial analysis as requested.
• Utilize working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes for accounting purposes.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• CA intermediate with 3 years of Articleship experience preferred.
• Experience in fixed asset reconciliation, depreciation, statutory audits, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Experience with SAP is desirable.
• Knowledge of Swiss or German GAAP companies is a plus.
