Core Responsibilities

• Dispensing & Preparation: Compounding, packaging, and labeling medications accurately from physician orders.
• Patient Counseling: Educating patients on proper dosage, administration, storage, potential side effects, and adherence.
• Collaboration: Consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize treatment plans and monitor drug therapies.
• Inventory Management: Ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records for controlled substances and general supplies, removing expired drugs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to federal and state laws (FDA, DEA, etc.) and maintaining meticulous records.
• Health Services: Administering immunizations (like flu shots) and conducting health screenings.

Key Duties

• Reviewing prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness and identifying incompatibilities.
• Monitoring patient profiles for drug interactions and safety.
• Providing information and training to staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Performing quality control checks on medications.
• Managing pharmacy operations, including workflow and technician supervision.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Robust understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medication administration.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
