Front Desk Attendant

We are currently seeking an engaging, detail-oriented Front Desk Attendant to join our team for the summer season (June through September), with the opportunity for continued employment into our winter season.

As a Front Desk Agent at Island Lake Lodge, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our main reception desk, including guest check-ins and reservations for the hotel, spa, restaurant, and hiking program. You will be the nerve center of our operation as such you will know everything running smoothly while knowing a little bit about everything.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing guest arrivals and departures
• Coordinating reservations for accommodations, spa services, dining, and guided hikes.
• Handling guest inquiries with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach
• Processing transactions and supporting retail sales
• Maintaining clear communication across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Thriving in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is key

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in customer service and cash-handling procedures
• Moderate to high level of comfort working with computers
• Enjoy interacting with clientele and find providing exceptional service important and rewarding.
• Prefer a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking is required
• Positive, team-based approach to responsibilities
• Applicants must be willing to work evenings, weekend and holiday shifts.
