Our client:

A global private markets investment firm specializing in private equity, private credit, and infrastructure. The firm operates with a lean technology team and is expanding its data and business analysis capabilities.

Intro paragraph:

Our client is hiring a Senior Data Business Analyst to be the first BA within the technology team. This role bridges business and technology, translating investment team requirements into clear data and reporting solutions. Strong communication skills and private markets experience are essential.

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

· Gather and translate business data requirements into technical specifications

· Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams

· Support Power BI reporting by reviewing dashboards and ensuring business alignment

· Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and consistency across reporting outputs

· Align reporting initiatives with the firm's data warehouse strategy

Qualifications and pre-requisites:

· Investment industry experience required

· Strong preference for private markets (private equity, private credit, infrastructure)

· Real estate-only backgrounds are not a fit

· Strong data analysis and reconciliation experience

· Familiarity with Power BI (hands-on dashboard building not required)

· Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between business and technical teams

Interview Process:

· 30-minute HR screen (Teams)

· 1-hour in-person interview including 30-minute technical test

· Final in-person interviews with team members and CTO

Technical test includes basic data analysis and Power BI review.
