Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper position located in the Pune Division. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities also include processing invoices, monitoring financial transactions, preparing tax returns, and assisting with audits. The role will support the finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or other accounting software, with experience in managing financial data and reconciliations.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure accurate record-keeping and clear reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping or similar financial roles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with industry-specific accounting principles is an advantage.
